A pink milestone

Yesterday was the one-year anniversary of me starting to use a walker instead of a cane.  It's a pain in the posterior from a doll-collecting perspective, but it's a helluva lot better than falling on one's face.  Well!  By sheer coincidence yesterday this arrived in the mail.  Mama has a matching one.
When's the last time any of y'all saw a PINK walker???  I'm not surprised they exist, but I've never seen one before today.  It's pretty stable too, for an Amazon find.  Since this thing IS pink I named it "Barbie."  Yeah, I name my walking implements; my Lucite cane's name is "Rose."

Told y'all I don't hate pink, LOL!

Rosy love,

  1. I'm sorry that you have to use a walker, but you are sure traveling in style. I pray that your health improves to where Barbie can be retired. I saw a purple walker at a garage sale recently, and my mother's walker is red. Hers is a fancy one, with a tall frame and handles sticking up, so that the user can stand up fairly straight. The Evil Genius family names our cars. Our current car is a gray color; she is named "Lady Jane Gray."

    1. My family named cars too, LOL. We did have an Oldsmobile that we called the Gray Lady, so your family and mine are on the same wavelength.
