D-Lightful Designs BJD Subscription Box

Talolili, here again. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Hopefully those Monday blues aren't settling in! Over the weekend I had my first ever (BJD related) subscription box arrive from D-Lightful Designs. I was very excited to open it, almost like a kid on Christmas Day. All the items were packaged inside a lovely white gift box with floral trim on the sides and on the top lid there is the logo for the store in turquoise, with a gorgeous gold peacock in the middle, so cute! The theme is Snuggled on the Sofa and the following items were inside: a large plush throw, large white pillow, cream candle, paperback trio, ceramic platter with two chocolate chip cookies, a glass of red wine and succulent in black and white striped planter. Wow!

Everything is so adorable and as a reader myself, I was so happy to see the tiny paperbacks, you can actually open them up! I'd say the books, the throw (so incredibly soft!) and the striped planter are my favorite pieces of the set. They have lots of play value too and are perfect for your BJD photo stories and/or dioramas. Since my MSD sized dolls were unavailable, my DD Renata (Saber Alter ver. 2) had the honor of trying out everything. She's also a big reader and her favorite story out of the three included was Legacy of Mist and Shadow.

I hope to take many more pictures once my MSDs are back home as I think that scale, 1/4, is more appropriate for the items. Namely, the wine glass and the cookie plate. The other pieces work well with various scales. I also want to give a big thanks to Deborah S. for the opportunity to review the subscription box and I hope to sign up for more in the future! I just adored everything and so did my dolls! If you'd like to sign up for a box yourself you can visit Deborah's shop Here. She also has lovely little fashions for BJDs and 18" dolls. You can also find more photos of the subscription box on my Flickr Page.

As always, thank you for reading and happy doll collecting!
