It's comin'!!!

Tornado Season 2026 is off to a strong start.  So far the worst of it has been to our west and way north, but tonight it's the Bootheel's turn.  Here's what we're facing, without the warning boxes and with.

The tornado-warned storm will probably go just to our south, just like it did exactly one year ago tonight.

Now, because I always grab at least one doll, here's my severe crew.  I've gone with a different tack this year.
In the black bag is The Doll Who Must Not Be Named.  Then from left, a very sleepy Martina, Alexandria Florida, and Mia.  All gifts ( I consider Martina a gift, Tam), all favorites of mine.  Even Alex's dress is a gift.

Y'all batten down the hatches!  This storm system stretches from Chicago to Louisiana, so you'll all likely get at least some rain.  And with that, our sirens are going off.  We are now under a tornado warning.

Love,
RagingMoon1987

    1. All is good, thank God. It was another close call, but we're good.

  2. I hope it's just a threat and not a promise! We've had very strong winds for days, with trees uprooted, (including one just at the end of our tiny street!), limbs down, electricity out, (Not at our house though.), traffic lights out, stores having to close, the fridges and freezers out at Kroger, and fires! It was supposed to be 71 yesterday, the warmest day of the next 7, and today it's snowing! By the way, I didn't gift Martina to you. You paid for her. I can take no credit.

    1. You were still nice enuff to send Martina to me. Shipping and handling isn't a big deal. Here's hoping your snow doesn't hang around, and your power stays on!

    2. Yes, I finally saw it after...and then I was like "whoa! The Doll That Must Not Be Named is big!" She's like 3 cabbies big, vs how we would measure a Smurf, who are 3 apples tall. Hehehehee

    3. You've seen her, actually...but shhhh, don't say nuthin' yet! I'll introduce her when she's been here exactly a year.

  4. Did you see the tornado that hit Michigan a few weeks ago? It went right along a lake, which I've never seen before.

    1. I did indeed! Ryan Hall said that tornado was an anomaly, forming as far north as it did while also so early in the year.
